Product Information

A superb example of an 18th century Chippendale design open armchair in mahogany with original patination. Consisting of a foliate carved top rail, interlaced splat back,' S' shaped arms terminating in eagles heads. Drop in upholstered seat and with a dragoon decoration to the bottom of the seat rail. Pair of finely carved ball & claw cabriole legs to the front. The whole being totally original. Circa 1750. (Item ref. 50842).
