Summers Davis Antiques presents a VERY RARE EARLY 19TH CENTURY ,REGENCY BREAKFRONT SIDEBOARD WITH INTEGRAL PULLOUT DINING TABLE. THE TABLE HAVING A FLIP OVER TOP WITH PULL OUT ACTION GIVING SPACE TO ADD THREE EXTRA ORIGINAL LEAVES.THE LEAVES BEING HOUSED IN THE DUMMY CENTRAL DRAWER OF THE SIDEBOARD. THE SIDEBOARD HAVING CELLARETTE DRAWER TO THE RIGHT , A DUMMY DROP FLAP DRAWER TO THE CENTRE AND CUPBOARD DOOR TO THE LEFT. THE LINE INLAY IS OF MACASSA EBONY. THIS POSSIBLY UNIQUE SIDEBOARD/TABLE WAS MADE AT A TIME WHEN IT WAS THE FASHION TO PUT A DINING TABLE TO ONE SIDE AFTER USE. THE ONLY REFERENCE TO A SIDEBOARD -TABLE  COMBINATION AN BE FOUND  IN THE "PICTORIAL DICTIONARY OF MARKED LONDON FURNITURE" W.POCOCK OF COVENT GARDEN MADE A PATENT SIDEBOARD AND SYMPATHETIC TABLE. Dimensions: Sideboard 87 1/2"(222cm) wide,  30" (76cm) deep,  38" (96.5cm) tall.   Table 50" (127cm) wide, 25 3/4" (65.5cm) deep as side table 51 1/2"(131cm) open 9' 1 1/4" (277.5cm) total length.
